Bayern Munich and German national team striker Thomas Müller will receive a €100,000 ($136,000) bonus payment "if he will become the top goal scorer of the World Cup in Brazil," according to BILD. The 24-year-old, who scored a hat trick during Germany's 4-0 win over Portugal on Monday, "reportedly has a top goal scorer clause in his contract with adidas." The sportswear company will pay Müller €100,000 "should he become the tournament's top goal scorer." In case Germany wins the World Cup, the sum "reportedly would double" to €200,000 ($271,000) (BILD, 6/18).
