Super League rugby side Bradford Bulls "have sacked" coach FRANCIS CUMMINS. The Bulls, who last week lost an appeal against a six-point deduction for going into administration, are eight points from safety with 11 games left. Bradford "also parted company" with assistant coach LEE ST HILAIRE. Skipper MATT DISKIN "has been placed in caretaker charge of the team for Friday's home match against Hull KR" (BBC, 6/16). ... Spanish second division side Osasuna President MIGUEL ARCHANCO "confirmed that he is stepping down from his position." Archanco is "leaving the club in the hands of a managing committee that will be elected by club members" (EFE, 6/16).
