Commonwealth Games CEO DAVID GREVEMBERG "has been appointed" head of the Commonwealth Games Federation beginning in November. He will take over from MIKE HOOPER, who "has been in the post for the past 14 years." Before joining Glasgow 2014, Grevemberg was the executive director of sport and international federation relations at the Int'l Paralympic Committee (HERALD SCOTLAND, 6/6). ... Switzerland's GIAN FRANCO KASPER "has been re-elected unopposed" as Int'l Ski Federation (FIS) president. Kasper, an IOC  member, has led FIS since '98 (ESPN, 6/6). ... Infront Sports & Media appointed MARCO SAUTNER as director of sales/marketing of its German subsidiary. Sautner will work in Infront's Frankfurt office and report to Infront Germany Managing Dir REINHARDT WEINBERGER (Infront). ... DAVID HUMPHREYS will become Premiership Rugby club Gloucester's director of rugby. In "an interestingly worded statement" from Ravenhill, CEO SHANE LOGAN conceded that Ulster "were taken aback by the news." Logan: "We are disappointed with the decision but respect David's decision to leave Ulster" (IRISH INDEPENDENT, 6/8).
