Inaugural America's Golf Cup To Take Place In Buenos Aires In October, Feature Tiger Woods
The inaugural America's Golf Cup, which aims to aid the development of golf in Latin America, will take place from Oct. 21-26 at the Pilar Golf Club in Buenos Aires, with Tiger Woods headlining the list of participants. The event will be held annually and will feature high profile golfers. It will take place in a different Latin American country each year. For this year's event, Matt Kuchar will join Woods on the U.S. team, with Angel Cabrera leading the host country. The tournament's format will be best-ball through the four days of competition. The event will feature 34 participating countries, four of which will be invited. The event's other players will qualify based on the Oct. 12 PGA Tour Latinoamérica ranking (Golf Magazine).
