Bundesliga Side Borussia Dortmund Releases Video Against Racism

Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund "has released a video against neo-nazis and racism," according to the DPA. The club "uses the video to communicate the clear message that racism and offensive slurs are not tolerated and have no place in football." The spot, which ends with the slogan "Nazis und Fußball passen einfach nicht zusammen" ("Nazis and football simply don't go together"), "is expected to start a chain reaction throughout the league." Fans, sponsors, friends and partners, but also the rest of the league, "are called on to fight racism together." The club said, "Only together, we can ban racism and discrimination from our stadiums" (DPA, 5/22).
