Bundesliga side FSV Mainz head coach THOMAS TUCHEL "has resigned from his position with immediate effect." Mainz GM CHRISTIAN HEIDEL said on Sunday, "As of today the collaboration is over." However, Tuchel's contract with the club "will not expire before the summer of '15." Heidel: "Contracts are always adhered to in Mainz. A transfer without the approval of FSV Mainz is not possible. And it will stay that way" (HANDELSBLATT, 5/11). ... Former England & Wales Cricket Board Chair DAVID MORGAN "has been nominated" to become the next president of Marylebone Cricket Club. Morgan, currently president of Current Glamorgan County Cricket Club, "was unveiled at the Club’s Annual General Meeting at Lord’s on Wednesday" (Lords).
