Spanish Second Division Side Real Zaragoza's Sale Threatened By Potential Embargo
During meetings on Wednesday between Spanish second division side Real Zaragoza Owner Agapito Iglesias and a group of businessmen led by Mariano Casasnovas to "reach an agreement on the sale of the club, the operation came to a sudden stop," according to Sonia Gaudioso of MARCA. A Spanish judge announced that "any money that Iglesias receives in a sale of the club will be embargoed if there is a sale." Casasnovas and his group "must study this point well." Within "the group, there is a lot of concern now because the sale is in danger" (MARCA, 5/8).
