Austrian free-to-air TV channel ServusTV "recorded satisfying ratings for its broadcast of the German Hockey League (DEL) finals series," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. Game 7 "attracted a peak audience of almost half a million viewers on Tuesday." The decisive game between Ingolstadt and Cologne was watched by an average of 300,000 viewers, with a peak audience of 470,000 viewers. The number translated into a market share of 1.1%. In the target demographic 14-49, Ingolstadt's 2-0 win obtained a market share of 1.6% and a peak share of 2.3%. Over the course of the season, the channel "was able to increase its viewership in the target demographic by 71%" in comparison to the '12-13 season (DWDL, 4/30).
