Chinese Telecom Huawei Signs Three-Year Deal With Paris St. Germain, Report Says

Le Figaro has reported that Chinese telecom equipment and handset maker Huawei has signed a three-year, €3.9M ($5.4M) sponsorship deal with Ligue 1 Paris St. Germain, according to TELECOM PAPER. Huawei will advertise at Parc des Princes stadium and in official PSG stores "as well as supplying the club with smartphones and tablets." The company is "seeking to build its reputation in Europe," and previously signed sponsorship agreements with EPL side Arsenal and Bundlesiga clubs Dortumund and Bayern Munich (TELECOM PAPER, 4/6).
