Marketplace Roundup: Karlsruher SC Extends Main Sponsorship Deal With Klaiber

Second Bundesliga club Karlsruher SC has extended its main sponsorship deal with weather protection company Klaiber for another year. The company's logo will continue to be featured on the front of the jerseys. Klaiber has been the club's main sponsor since '10. The deal was brokered by sports marketing agency Sportfive and is valid for the 2nd Bundesliga and Bundesliga (Karlsruher SC). ... Second Bundesliga club FC Cologne "will feature the logo of tourism agency DER Touristik on its jerseys instead of regular shirt sponsor REWE." Germany's second largest tourism provider "has been a part of the REWE Group for a about a year and to celebrate the anniversary the company's logo will appear on the jersey's front during Saturday's home game against Arminia Bielefeld" (EXPRESS, 3/31).
