Marketplace Roundup: Ottmar Hitzfeld Signs On As Brand Ambassador For Camp David

Swiss national football team head coach and former Bayern Munich head coach Ottmar Hitzfeld "has signed a deal with fashion brand Camp David." Hitzfeld "will beome the new brand ambassador for Camp David Black, which is the brand's classic collection line" (HORIZONT, 3/10). ... Handball Bundesliga (HBL) club Bergischer HC has extended its premium partnership with automotive industry supplier WKW automotive (Bergischer HC). ... Speedo has signed a three-year deal with the Spanish Swimming Federation (RFEN) as its exclusive product and sportswear supplier. Speedo will provide equipment and apparel for all RFEN athletes competing in swimming, water polo, diving, synchronized swimming and open water through '17 (Speedo). ... Malayasian cyclists Grace Phang and Muhammad Fauzan Ahmad Lufti, swimmer Khoo Cai Lin and triathlete Kimbeley Yap "are among 15 athletes chosen to be part of the PowerBar Team Elite programme." The grassroots sports ambassador program, revealed by Nestle PowerBar on Wednesday, "supports sportsmen and women, coaches and other sports influencers across a wide range of sports" (THE STAR, 3/12). ... The Yorkshire County Cricket Club and int'l accounting firm Mazars have agreed to a two-year deal for Mazars to become the club's principal partner. The deal has an option for a third year. It will see Mazars appear on the club's championship and one-day shirts and training wear (YCCC).
