Spanish Second Division Side Deportivo La Coruña Denies Agreement With Creditor
Spanish second division side Deportivo La Coruña President Tino Fernández recognized on Monday that "his team does not have an agreement with the Hacienda (Spanish tax authorities), the club's principal creditor, to stop embargoes that could be reactivated following a judge's decision on Friday to approve a creditor agreement that was not backed by the Hacienda," according to the EFE. Fernández said, "There is no agreement. The tax authorities have to execute [the embargoes]. Though there is not an agreement, we have to follow the process according to the law" (EFE, 2/10).
