Sky Media Network Satisfied With Bundesliga Broadcasts, Revenue Up By 19.5%
Sky Deutschland's marketing company, Sky Media Network, "has been satisfied with the marketing of the pay-TV network's Bundesliga broadcasts," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. The company said that "it has increased its revenue by 19.5% during the first half of the Bundesliga season, in comparison to the same time period last year." Sky Media Network has also increased its number of ad customers by 27.1%. The company said that it was able to acquire 91 new customers. Sky Media Network Managing Dir Martin Michel said, "The Bundesliga on Sky provides ad customers with a unique, emotional premium setting with a stable, predictable pricing and performance-based CPMs. On top, the 2nd Bundesliga has increased its appeal and became another top setting over the past two years" (DWDL, 1/27).
