Bundesliga Club Eintracht Braunschweig Reports Slight Loss For '12-13 Fiscal Year
Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig "released its financial numbers for the '12-13 season in which it made a slight loss," according to the SID. Braunschweig Managing Dir Soeren Oliver Voigt reported a loss of €253,000 ($344,000) at the club's annual general meeting on Monday. During the previous season, Braunschweig generated a profit of €1.7M. Voigt: "The season that ended with the promotion to the Bundesliga was very positive for us both athletically and financially. [This year's] slight loss is due to extensive points and promotion bonus payments, among others" (SID, 12/3).
