Media Notes: ESPN Deportes Announces Sub-License Agreement With Fox

ESPN Deportes Radio has reached a sub-license agreement with Fox to broadcast the UEFA Champions League through the '14-15 season (ESPN). ... The U.K. broadcast market "continues to be fertile TV sales ground for the UEFA with TEAM marketing having concluded the final parts of licensing broadcast rights for the Champions League and Europa League" in the U.K. for the '16-18 cycle (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 11/26). ... One of Japan's two professional baseball leagues "will begin providing daily highlight packages" to two Taiwanese TV stations starting next season. Elta Sports, one of the two Taiwanese TV stations said to be interested in such a deal, said that "the NHK report was premature and that no arrangements had been finalized" (CNA, 11/26).
