English Rugby Championship Side Moseley Has Application For Stadium Upgrades Green Lit
English Rugby Championship side Moseley has announced that its application, in conjunction with Birmingham City Council, for construction of a complex on the west side of the Billesley Common ground was approved by the City Council's Planning Committee. The proposed two-story building includes more than 700 covered seats, clubhouse rooms, catering facilities and changing rooms. A "national standard" six-lane indoor bowls rink is to be built at the rear of the building. Construction is scheduled for completion in time for the start of the '14-15 season. The club plans to reposition the existing 650-seat stand to provide a total covered seating potential of more than 1,300 in Sept. (ISPORTCONNECT, 10/4).
