The torch will travel through all 83 Russian regions, visiting 2,900 towns and settlements (Washington Capitals). ... Super Rugby League side ACT Brumbies coach JAKE WHITE "has quit his Super Rugby job just two months after leading the club to the grand final." The Brumbies have granted White a release from the last two years of his contract because ‘‘his heart's not in it.’’ Assistant coaches STEPHEN LARKHAM and LAURIE FISHER "are the front-runners to replace White" (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 9/25). ... On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
