Super League Canberra Brumbies Could Stay Longer At Australian Institute Of Sport

The Australian Capital Territory Super League Brumbies "will consider basing their rugby program at the Australian Institute of Sport for the entire 2014 Super Rugby season to avoid a disruptive move in the middle of the campaign," according to Chris Dutton of the CANBERRA TIMES. The Brumbies "have set up their temporary home at the AIS as they wait" for their new A$15M ($13.8M) center to be built at the University of Canberra. The joint project with the ACT government and the university "is expected to be completed by the end of February." The Brumbies "have already left their Griffith headquarters and demolition is expected to start in the coming weeks" (CANBERRA TIMES, 9/5).
