Media Notes: GolTV Secures Eredivisie Broadcast Rights, To Air Live Matches In August

GolTV, the U.S.'s only independent bilingual football network, has secured broadcast rights to the Eredivisie, the highest football league in the Netherlands. GolTV will air exclusive live matches every weekend starting in its new season this August (GolTV). ... Kentaro has announced global distribution for the Uli Hoeneß Cup Taking place in the Allianz Arena in Munich on Wednesday. Major deals have been secured with Sky Sports in the U.K., Sky Italia in Italy, beIN Sport in France, Polsat in Poland, SportTV in Portugal, Viasat across Scandinavia and GolTV in the U.S. Overall, the game will be broadcast in more than 140 markets worldwide (Kentaro).
