FIFA has named LYDIA NSEKERA the first female candidate elected to FIFA's exec committee. MOYA DODD and SONIA BIEN-AIME will also join FIFA's top table as co-opted members (FIFA). Puma has appointed adidas Head of Global Sourcing ANDY KOEHLER as its new COO, "completing a new line-up for top management." Koehler will be part of the team under new CEO BJORN GULDEN (REUTERS, 5/31). ... UAE side Al Nasr "was dealt a second blow in as many days" when former England coach SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON announced his immediate resignation as the club’s technical director on Sunday. Al Nasr’s Italian coach WALTER ZENGA "was voted out of his job" on Saturday by the board of directors, throwing up the possibility of Eriksson taking over the reins. The Swede, who last served as coach of League Championship Leicester City for a year between '10-11, "insisted it was time to move on." Zenga: "I need a new challenge. I will probably go back to coaching. I cannot tell you where I am going. I will tell you another day" (GULF NEWS, 6/2). ... Bundesliga club Hamburg SV has appointed Karlsruher SC Sport Dir OLIVER KREUZER as its new sport director. KSC President Ingo Wellenreuther said that contract with Kreuzer "will be terminated on June 11." Hamburg will pay close to €1M ($1.3M) for Kreuzer (KURIER, 2/6). ... Int'l Judo Federation President MARIUS VIZER "has been elected" as the new head of SportAccord, the umbrella body for more than 100 int'l sports organizations. Vizer overcame Int'l Rugby Board Chair BERNARD LAPASSET by 52 votes to 37 at the SportAccord general assembly on Friday (SPORTS FEATURES, 5/31).

COACHES: Ligue 1 Paris St. Germain has agreed to a deal with LAURENT BLANC to become the club's new coach next season, "a move that could finally clear" PSG Manager CARLO ANCELOTTI (MARCA, 6/2). ... Iranian coach MOHAMMAD MAYELI KOHAN has taken charge of Iranian football side Saba. Kohan was appointed as coach "on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee" (TEHRAN TIMES, 6/1). Iranian side Saipa former coach MOJTABA TAGHAVI has been appointed head coach of Mes of Kerman. He replaces LUKA BONACIC (TEHRAN TIMES, 6/1). ... Dutch national team head coach LOUIS VAN GAAL "will quit" after the World Cup (XINHUA, 6/1). ... La Liga Valencia coach ERNESTO VALVERDE has confirmed that he will leave the club this summer, "citing the club’s instability as why." Valverde had taken Los Che to the verge of Champions League qualification after replacing MAURICIO PELLEGRINO in November, but "was the subject of speculation, having only signed on until the end of the season."
