ProSiebenSat.1 Will Broadcast X Games On Pay-TV Channel ProSieben Fun

German media company ProSiebenSat.1 "has acquired the media rights to the X Games series from ESPN," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. The deal provides ProSiebenSat.1 with the action-sports series' distribution rights for pay-TV, free-to-air TV and video-on-demand for all six X Games events in '13. The Munich-based company "will show the X Games events in Barcelona and Munich live on its pay-TV channel ProSieben Fun." In addition, ProSieben "will show highlights of all six events on its free-to-air TV channel." The company "will also use its online properties ran.de and MyVideo for the distribution of the X Games" (DWDL, 1/23).
