Brazilian Rugby Agrees To Four-Year Sponsorship Deal With Brookfield Incorporações

The Brazilian Rugby Confederation (CBRu) has signed a four-year deal with real estate company Brookfield Incorporações, according to Lucas Turco of MAQUINADOESPORTE.com.br. The sponsorship deal consists of both the men's and women's national teams. However, the company does not have "a defined space on the jersey yet." The main sponsor space is occupied by private sector bank Bradesco, so the two sides are discussing the possibility of stamping the company's logo beneath the Bradesco space. Brazil's 2015 World Cup qualifier against Paraguay on Saturday "will already" see the team sporting the Brookfield logo on its jersey. CBRu President Sami Arap Sobrinho said, "We are trying to transform the country into one of the forces in the sport, and the support of our sponsors is fundamental in guaranteeing adequate preparation for our national teams" (MAQUINADOESPORTE.com.br, 10/23).
