Pitch International Will Manage CBF Friendly Matches Until 2022 World Cup

London-based sports marketing agency Pitch International has agreed to an exclusive partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) for the right to organize, promote and commercialize all Brazil int'l friendly matches for the next 10 years. Pitch's relationship with the CBF will begin on the FIFA match date of Oct. 16. The company will be responsible for all organizational and commercial aspects of the Seleção's friendly matches worldwide, including in Brazil, between now and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. As the host nation of the 2014 World Cup, Brazil does not play in any qualification matches, so Pitch will be responsible for up to 20 friendly matches during this crucial 2014 World Cup preparation period. In addition to the organization of matches, Pitch will also be responsible for the commercialization of all broadcast, sponsorship, stadium signage, ticketing and commercial rights of the friendly matches (Pitch International).
