The top three, as well as many other clubs, "have already stopped their season ticket sales." The fans of newly promoted Fortuna Dusseldorf, which returned to Germany's top flight after a 15-year hiatus, have helped the team to sell a record-breaking 31,000 season tickets. Fortuna board member Sven Mühlenbeck said, "The fact that we've sold that many season tickets is simply sensational. We honestly didn't expect that" (DPA, 8/7).
