Real Madrid In Rush To Complete Construction Of New Facility On Time
Real Madrid is "working overtime to finish the first team's residence," according to Pablo Polo of MARCA. The construction deadline is set for Aug. 12, which "coincides with the team's return from its U.S. tour." Because of slow construction, however, "nobody would believe that it'll be completed on time." The facility is to have 60 bedrooms for the first team. Each bedroom will have a bed, office area, bathroom and a "comfortable common area." The cost of the first team's 7,000m2 residence will be €17M ($20.7M). That figure is down €5M ($6.1M) from the originally estimated €22M ($26.7M) (MARCA, 7/22).
