BBC Northern Ireland Unveils New Broadcast Deal With Irish FA

BBC Northern Ireland has agreed to a new contract with the Irish FA for coverage of int'l and domestic football. The deal covers int'l football for the next two years, and the Irish FA Premiership for the next four seasons. BBC NI will have live coverage on Radio Ulster, and highlights on BBC One NI, of all Northern Ireland's home int'l matches for the next two seasons. BBC NI will be enhancing coverage of domestic football by providing fans with a new online program on bbc.co.uk/sportni called Finals Score 2. The program will launch on Aug. 13, and will provide goal highlights and expert analysis from the weekend matches. Final Score will also be back on Aug. 11 with scores and goals from the day's games. On radio, Saturday Sportsound is also back on BBC Radio Ulster with live coverage of the day's top game and updates from all the other grounds (BBC NI).
