Paris St. Germain Agrees To Two Year Deal With GO Sport

Ligue 1 club Paris St. Germain has reached a "two-year sponsorship deal" with global sports company GO Sport, according to Jon Turner of SPORT360.com. PSG CEO Jean-Claude Blanc was very pleased with the new partnership. Blanc: "We believe that the image of PSG will bring a lot to GO sport, but we also rely heavily on the brand to establish our presence in France and abroad." GO Sport CEO Francois Neukirch said, "This partnership is an important step in our sales and marketing strategy" (SPORT360.com, 7/16). SPONSORING.fr reported that "just like in the best of scenarios," following Olympique de Marseille's January announcement of a sponsorship deal with Intersport, rivals PSG reached an agreement with one of Intersport's primary competitor; GO Sport (SPONSORING.fr, 7/12).
