Cardiff City Will Use Digonex SEATS To Help Set Ticket Prices

Pricing software developer Digonex reached a deal with Championship club Cardiff City that will see the English side use the Sports & Entertainment Analytical Ticketing System. SEATS will be used by the club to analyze ticket sales and buying patterns to set match prices during the '12-13 season. In the past, Cardiff City has traditionally used a tiered-pricing structure.  Prices of single home match tickets will fluctuate up and down based on a series of metrics including team performance, league position, opponent, scheduling, and other econometric and behavioral factors. Digonex CEO Jan Eglen said, "We've helped several organizations across a variety of sports launch successful programs demonstrating how dynamic pricing can increase both ticket sales and profitability and so far the football clubs response to SEATS has been tremendous" (Digonex).
