In London, Roger Blitz reports the fight against match-fixing in European football "has suffered a fresh blow" with the resignation of UEFA Anti-Corruption Chief Legal Counsel PIERRE CORNU. Cornu, in charge of integrity and regulatory affairs, will leave his post after Euro 2012. UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino denied that Cornu’s departure "was linked to his role" in UEFA’s decision to ban Swiss team FC Sion from European competition for fielding ineligible players (FINANCIAL TIMES, 6/7).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
