Amy Trask Says NFL-NFLPA Relationship In Need Of A "Reboot"

CBS Sports Network’s Amy Trask today said the "number one" change that needs to occur in the NFL offseason is to “reboot the relationship" between the league and the NFLPA. Trask: "Hit control-alt-delete. Do what you have to do, go out for ice cream together -- I’ll buy it. Everyone is invested in the health and success of the league. … Involve some owners and involve some players in the process, don’t just leave it to De Smith and Roger Goodell. Grab Robert Kraft, grab Richard Sherman. Invite them to the table."

When asked why the relationship is so broken, Trask said, “I understand the Players Association has an important job to do ... but when you go out and hire a litigator to run your business, then don’t be surprised when a litigator acts like a litigator and argues about even things which don’t need to be argued” (“That Other Pregame Show,” CBSSN, 1/21).
