Ravens-Bears Still Under Delay Due To Inclement Weather
The Ravens-Bears game was temporarily suspended this afternoon due to tornadoes in the area. The Bears tweeted at 1:32pm ET that the "seating area is being evacuated" and that "fans are being asked to relocate to the nearest covered concourse." The feed also noted the Soldier Field PA announcer was "announcing that the evacuation is a precautionary measure and that there is no immediate danger." At 2:59pm ET, the feed announed that "fans will be allowed back into their seats" at 3:15pm with the game resuming at 3:25pm.
With 4:51 remaining in the first quarter, CBS returned to the broadcast desk at “The NFL Today," with host James Brown giving a brief report on the delay. CBS then began airing coverage of Jets-Bills in all markets that had been receiving Ravens-Bears (“Ravens-Bears,” CBS, 11/17).
