Browns Enter New Era Under Haslam With Fan Experience Upgrades
The Browns are entering their first full season under Owner Jimmy Haslam III and CEO Joe Banner, and for their home opener today "installed 20 new turnstiles to help with the long lines entering FirstEnergy Stadium." Browns President Alec Scheiner said that the team also has "installed a new tower from Verizon and has upgraded an AT&T tower" to improve cell phone service. In addition, the Browns "will have a disc jockey on the field before all home games in order to provide a better pregame atmosphere," and security company CSC "re-trained the staff at the stadium" (WKYC.com, 9/8). Banner: "I want the fans to see some things (this season) that gain their trust so they know we are going in the right direction" (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 9/7).
