Noting Murray is the first British player to win the tournament since '36, ESPN's Chris Fowler said, “Andy Murray’s moment at Wimbledon, and finally, the great British drought is over.” ESPN’s John McEnroe said Murray’s championship is “a great moment for Britain but also a great moment for our sport” (“Wimbledon,” ESPN, 7/7). The LONDON TIMES wrote under the header, "Murray Rewrites History With Victory Over Djokovic."
