NASCAR's Bowman Teams Up With Entrepreneur From "Shark Tank"
NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Alex Bowman has partnered with entrepreneur Daymond John, who created the apparel brand FUBU and is a regular on ABC's "Shark Tank," to "help with the 19-year-old driver's branding and sponsorship." John was at Auto Club Speedway yesterday to "meet with Bowman." John said, "I think he's a rock star. Not only is he effective and a great product in NASCAR, I think it can really move to other areas of popular culture." John: "He's scalable, he's young and he also hits that popular culture" (USATODAY.com, 3/23). Bowman finished 12th in yesterday's Royal Purple 300 (THE DAILY).
