Wallace Headlines '13 NASCAR HOF Class; Drivers Introduce Inductees
The NASCAR HOF on Friday inducted its fourth class, led by ESPN analyst and former driver Rusty Wallace. In a “change from previous seasons,” current NASCAR drivers introduced each inductee, with Brad Keselowski introducing Wallace. Wallace had “by far the longest (more than 23 minutes) and easily the most anticipated acceptance speech” (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 2/9). Wallace: “I just hope all the young drivers respect NASCAR as much as I respect it and go out there and say nice things about NASCAR and help build this sport” (AP, 2/9).
