Fox Sells Out Sixth UFC Card, Doubles Its List Of Ad Partners

Fox "completely sold out" its ad inventory for last night's UFC card, and boasted 16 national clients for the two-hour broadcast. UFC "newcomers" include reps from "key categories" such as beverages (Coca-Cola), insurance (Geico), automotive (Chrysler) and telecom/media (DirecTV). Sprint was a "last-minute entry," committing to an in-fight unit on Thursday night. Movies showcased during yesterday's card included "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters," and "A Good Day To Die Hard" (ADWEEK.com, 1/25).

Yesterday's bout between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson "captivated the crowd of 16,091" at the United Center (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 1/27).
