Guaranteed Rate Becomes NHL's Official Mortgage Sponsor

Chicago-based retail mortgage lender Guaranteed Rate is now the NHL’s official mortgage sponsor in the U.S., marking the first such deal of its kind for the league. Financial terms and the length of the deal weren’t disclosed. The sponsorship deal, which begins with the ’20-21 season, will feature Guaranteed Rate branding around NHL tentpole events such as the Stanley Cup playoffs and Final as well as advertising spots focused on the brand’s ‘Believe You Will’ campaign. Guaranteed Rate negotiated directly with the NHL’s business development group on the deal. 

Some of Guaranteed Rate’s other deals in sports include title sponsorship of what was previously called the Cactus Bowl, which began this year, in addition to naming rights for the White Sox’ ballpark. That 13-year deal began in ‘16.
