Arthur Blank Charts Path Back To Normalcy In Dealmakers Q&A

AMBSE Owner Arthur Blank believes “next year for the NFL will be fine” with a majority of Americans receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. Blank, who will be a featured speaker at today’s Dealmakers In Sports conference, said, "There’s a reasonable chance we’ll get a significant number of the vaccines out in the marketplace, to Americans across all kinds of populations, in the next 4 to 6 months." He added the "soccer business will continue to grow during the year, start out relatively flat and grow." Blank: "I think the football season next year for the NFL will be fine. I think by then the great majority of Americans will have the vaccination and I think you’ll see full stadiums next year, both college as well as professional.”

When asked if that prediction is on a national basis, Blank said, "I believe it on a national basis. I think by next fall, you’ll see in large part a return to normalcy. I also think with the Biden administration in place, I think you’ll see some continuation of support plans for those that are really in tremendous need throughout our country today, as well as all our small businesses that need help to day, so I think you’ll see a surge in financial support for certain segments of the population that would feed into all of our businesses in a very positive way.”
