WTA Names Stats Perform Official Data Supplier

The WTA has a new official data supplier in Stats Perform. The partnership will deliver multiple data feeds to customers, including exclusive umpire-derived data for an expanded number of WTA matches. New data collected through Stats Perform’s AI capabilities and Opta analysts will increase the insight available for thousands of WTA matches, enhancing and powering a new range of second-screen, broadcast and betting experiences through two operationally independent data feeds (to ensure integrity).

“Stats Perform has a history of creating innovative and trusted content and products that drive entertainment levels and new revenue streams,” said WTA President Micky Lawler. Stats Perform CEO Carl Mergele: "Our broadcaster, media, and betting networks are already excited because they’ve seen how high-quality information elevates sport’s appeal." Stats Perform's other partners include MLB, MLS and a number of int'l soccer clubs/organizations. IMG previously held the WTA’s data rights.
