Dynamo Unveil New Branding, Organizational Identity

dynamo

After more than a two-year creative and design process, the Dynamo will announce later this morning their rebranding efforts and new organizational identity for both the MLS and NWSL clubs, including the organization now being referred to as the Houston Dynamo Football Club. The MLS club will be referred to as Houston Dynamo FC, too, while the Dash will remain the Houston Dash. As part of the new identity, both teams each have new crests that share a hexagonal shape and also pay homage to the city’s local waterways. Additionally, the six-sided design also represents ‘06, when the Dynamo arrived in Houston from San Jose and played their inaugural season. The word “Houston” also will be more prominently displayed on the Dynamo and Dash crest.

The organization will continue to have Electric Orange, as the club refers to it, as its primary color but has added Championship Silver to its palette to highlight the Dynamo and Dash titles, including most recently the ‘20 NWSL Challenge Cup. Space City Blue will also remain part of the Dash’s logo, too.
