LiveLike, WMT Partner On Fan Engagement In College Space

WMT and LiveLike today are announcing a partnership intended to bring heightened fan engagement efforts to prominent college athletic programs. The debut with Georgia Tech athletics, using the Yellow Jackets’ custom-built digital athletics platform and app, will enable students, fans, alumni and recruits to participate in interactive features that sync to live events, all from Tech’s existing website. WMT and LiveLike plan to deliver for Georgia Tech a new user experience that includes LiveLike’s interactive features with a full suite of customizable options. LiveLike's features can be added to partners' apps and websites within weeks, engaging with a cultivated audience that already exists.

“With the postponement of some sports and others reducing or eliminating in-venue attendance, we set out to reimagine the collegiate sports experience,” WMT Founder Andres Focil said in a statement. LiveLike CEO Miheer Walavalkar, a Georgia Tech alum, said, "Andres and his team have created some amazing platforms for the biggest names in collegiate athletics." The partnership with WMT Digital comes after LiveLike’s recent deals with Turner Sports/NBA Digital, the EPL/Sky Sports and FloSports.
