Fox Sports Offering WrestleMania PPV On Digital Platforms

Fox Sports will offer WWE’s WrestleMania PPV this weekend via its apps and FoxSports.com website, the first time Fox has offered a WWE PPV on its platforms. The two-night PPV goes for $59.99 via the Fox Sports and Fox Now apps, plus the foxsports.com website. The move is part of a larger programming deal the media company struck with WWE that will see FS1 carry a pre-show around both nights of WrestleMania this weekend, in addition to bringing back its WWE studio show “WWE Backstage” and carrying 22 hours of library content. The WrestleMania pre-show will air on FS1 and Fox Sports Deportes on both nights, starting at 6:00pm ET.

FS1 will carry 22 hours of library footage on Tuesday nights, starting tonight with this year’s Royal Rumble. Other shows include one-hour editions of WrestleMania 31, WrestleMania 33 and WrestleMania 34 and programming from its “WWE 24,” “Ruthless Aggression” and “Best of WWE” programs. FS1 has committed to start producing its weekly studio show “WWE Backstage” again, starting tonight, with host Renee Young and analysts Booker T, Mark Henry and Paige previewing WrestleMania 36 from their homes.
