NBA Names Twitch's Kate Jhaveri CMO, Replacing Pam El

The NBA named digital marketing veteran Kate Jhaveri the league’s new CMO, replacing Pam El, who retired at the end of last year. Jhaveri, currently Twitch CMO, will begin her new job on Aug. 15, reporting to NBA Deputy Commissioner & COO Mark Tatum. Prior to Twitch, Jhaveri was Twitter Head of Consumer Marketing and also previously worked as Facebook Head of Brand & Mobile Marketing. She also worked in marketing for Microsoft and Dell. As NBA CMO, Jhaveri will be responsible for marketing campaigns and brand messaging across the NBA, WNBA, G League and NBA 2K league.
