Scrum Ventures Announces Finalists For Virtual Accelerator
Scrum Ventures announced today the 12 sports technology firms that will take part in its three month virtual accelerator, with a demonstration of their products scheduled Aug. 20 at Oracle Park in S.F. Scrum’s initiative is part of its Sports Tech Tokyo and is designed to introduce sports technology companies to Japan ahead of the '20 Tokyo Games. Japanese ad giant Dentsu is a partner with Scrum.
Hundreds of companies applied to be part of Sports Tech Tokyo. During the finalist program, participants will work towards “proof of concept” with STT partners and leading Japanese brands, including ITOCHU, Sony Music Entertainment and Microsoft Japan. Finalists include Israeli sports camera system Pixellot and women's training app Wild, among others.
