McLaren Unveils Sponsors/Paint For Indianapolis 500 Entry

McLaren Racing this morning is revealing its paint scheme for the Indianapolis 500, confirming that sponsors for the No. 66 Chevy driven by Fernando Alonso include Dell Technologies, MindMaze, Huski Chocolate, Richard Mille, AutoNation and Vuse e-cigarettes. Vuse had not been previously announced by the team. The color scheme is largely papaya orange in keeping with McLaren’s long history with that color, with accents of blue, another color the team has a longtime connection to. The No. 66 is a nod to the team’s first Indy 500 win with Mark Donohue’s Penske-run M16 in ’72.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown said, “The reveal of the 66 car and livery is an important moment for McLaren Racing’s journey to the Indianapolis 500. It represents the beginning of the next phase of our program, and reflects a tremendous amount of hard work by our specialist Indy 500 team at the McLaren Technology Centre."
