Ticketmaster Holding Tailgate Events Around NFL Home Openers

Ticketmaster will hold tailgate events before the home openers for the Eagles, Patriots, Steelers and Seahawks to help NFL fans get comfortable with digital tickets. The event before tonight’s season-opening Falcons-Eagles game will be at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, where there will also be pregame concerts and other fan events. Former Eagles RB Brian Westbrook will be at the Ticketmaster tailgate. Fans can also charge their phones, play a VR game for prizes and learn how to download digital game tickets.

Former Patriots WR Deion Branch will be at the Ticketmaster tailgate event on Sunday at Gillette Stadium, while similar events will be held Sept. 16 in Pittsburgh and Sept. 23 in Seattle. Ticketmaster is working with all 32 NFL teams on a full move to digital tickets. That means fans will not be able to use PDFs of game tickets.
