On Her Turf Brand Expanding For Start Of NFL Season

NBC Sports and Refinery29 are expanding the reach of their On Her Turf brand with the start of the NFL season. On Her Turf, which celebrates women in sports and raises awareness for the issues most affecting women’s sports, launched as an Instagram page during the Pyeongchang Games. It will now also produce a weekly 30-minute podcast hosted by NBC Sports’ Kathryn Tappen, and a digital video series called “Football is Female,” highlighting high-profile women involved in football.

The first podcast will feature retired golfer Annika Sörenstam and Bills co-Owner Kim Pegula. The first two digital videos will feature NBC Sports’ Michele Tafoya and Cowboys Exec VP & Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones Anderson. The “SNF” bus also will have a section dedicated to the brand, featuring a selfie mirror.
