CAA Partners With Pizza Hut Ahead Of NFL Draft Activation

CAA has triumphed in the most contested sports agency review so far of ‘18, winning the right to be Pizza Hut’s sports marketing agency in a “beauty contest” among eight shops. “CAA showed a great understanding of our business. We look forward to leveraging their expertise to help deepen our connection with sports fans and amplify our partnerships with the NCAA and the NFL,” said Pizza Hut CMO Zipporah Allen. The pizza giant initiated a review after replacing Papa John’s as an NFL corporate sponsor with a four-year deal in February.

CAA’s first duty will be to plan and execute marketing activation behind the NFL Draft April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium. Pizza Hut’s corporate HQ is in Plano, Texas. "We look forward to leveraging our deep relationships across the sports landscape, as well as our proprietary consumer insights and data analytics," said CAA Consulting Head Greg Luckman. CAA Consulting’s other NFL sponsor client is Bose. Other agencies in the review were Endeavor/IMG, GMR, Genesco, Lagardere, MKTG, The Marketing Arm and Wasserman.
