Bengals' Mike Brown, Falcons' Arthur Blank Absent NFL Meeting

Bengals President Mike Brown "did not make the trip to Orlando this year" for the NFL's ongoing annual meeting, as he "recently underwent a hip replacement surgery and hasn't recovered yet to the point of making the trip." Exec VP Katie Blackburn and her husband, VP Troy Blackburn, are "heading up the Bengals contingent, along with their daughter, Elizabeth, sitting in on the meetings as part of their group for the first time." Paul Brown, the team's VP/Player Personnel and Mike’s son, "also didn’t travel" after he "recently tore his ACL" (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, 3/27).

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Arthur Blank said that the Falcons Owner will "remain in Atlanta to tend to 'personal business' and will not attend" the owners meeting (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 3/27).
