Ticketmaster Extends Relationship With Bucs, In Place Since '98

Ticketmaster today will announce it has extended its deal with the Buccaneers to serve as the team’s official primary and secondary ticketing partner. The team will continue to use the company’s Presence technology -- which the Bucs were among the first in the NFL to adopt last season -- allowing the club to cut back on fraud, streamline stadium operations and better mine consumer data. The Bucs began their partnership with Ticketmaster when Raymond James Stadium opened in '98.

The deal comes as the secondary category for NFL teams was opened up after a decade of Ticketmaster holding exclusive rights. A new primary deal covering '18-22 will see Ticketmaster continue to power NFL Ticket Exchange.
